In response to a comprehensive long-range master planning effort to address the growing demand for local workforce education, the College of the Mainland Board of Trustees has called a $162.5 million bond referendum to fund new construction and renovations that will bring COM's main campus up to 21st Century standards. COMPAC is a group of volunteer citizens (representing the many communities of the college taxing district) who have organized to implement a comprehensive advocacy campaign in favor of passing the bond.
